When selecting a box to package your game, you have a few options. This guide will help you pick the right type and size box for your needs.
Box types
There are four types of boxes available:
Standard boxes
Available in small, medium, and large, these are regular game boxes where the lid fits fully over the bottom. The side artwork of the bottom is covered when the lid is closed. Bottom artwork is optional for all sizes.
For large and medium standard boxes, if you only print the top (lid) of the box and not the bottom, the print cost is reduced by a few dollars.
Standard boxes are strong and sturdy, and made from 70pt/1,200 gsm chipboard covered with heavy white stock.

Large flat box
There is one size of flat box, named “large” because it is closest in size to the large standard box. The flat box is shallower than the standard boxes and has an internal neck, allowing the complete printed art to be visible when the box is closed. Top and bottom artwork is required.
The large flat box is robust, and made from 60pt/1,000 gsm chipboard covered with heavy matte finish paper.

Mint tins
Available in regular and tall sizes, mint tins are small steel boxes with a lid that hinges down the long edge. Artwork can be printed on the top and bottom of the tin.
The regular mint tin is 40g/1.40oz and can fit up to 55 mint tin size cards. The tall mint tin is 44g/1.54oz and can fit up to 90 mint tin size cards.
Simple boxes
Simple boxes are more rustic, being made from corrugated cardboard instead of chipboard and paper/cardstock. They are one piece with the lid tucked into the front when closed.
Simple boxes are made from 0.108in/2.74mm white corrugated cardboard.

When creating your box, you will see a 3D-rendered preview of what it will look like:
You can rotate the preview and simulate what opening the box will look like. Note that this is a digital render - while it is as close to the real thing as possible, printed items may differ slightly from the preview.
Box fit guide
When selecting a box to package your game, its a good idea to ensure that your other selected accessories and books will fit inside it. To help you out, here’s a general guide for which books and accessories fit inside which boxes.
Note that accessories are shipped together with each other, but separately from books. If they fit, accessories will arrive packed inside your box. This will reduce the shipping costs.
