I have my game in the Free RPG Day Bundle. And I would like to add it to the upcoming GMless Games Bundle as well. Is this possible?
Ordinarily, yes - you can add any product to as many bundles as you like. However, authors of collab bundles can specify that products added to any previous bundles they have published may not be added to the current one.
In order to ensure variety across these large bundles, that’s what we’ve done with the GM-less games bundle this month - any products included in the Free RPG Day bundle may not be added to this month’s GM-less games bundle. We’ll likely do that for other themed bundles we run, at least for the next few months, but it isn’t a blanket rule across all collab bundles.
Thanks for explaining! It would be great to reference these rules and decisions in an easily accessible place, to avoid confusing creators.
From the error message I got when I clicked on the “Join Bundle” link and followed through to add my product, it looked like a technical glitch, not a decision by the platform or the bundle owner that I could read up on.
