Can't access dashboard or product page

I’m just getting a “Loading latest version…” page - both on Vivaldi and Chrome for Android.

I suspect you must have hit that right after we updated something. Coincidentally, the update we just pushed should dramatically reduce the chance of you seeing that “Loading latest version…” page. If it ever does show, it’s because your browser has a stale version of the site available after we published an update.

It will now auto-refresh to fetch the latest version instead of showing that message. You may still see it in more rare cases, but it will have a manual refresh button you can click to get back to the site.

Ideally, this won’t happen at all, so please let us know if it becomes a frequent issue.

Thank you for looking into it, but the problem persists - I get the same screen when I try to login and check out my cart. Or browse the marketplace. Refreshing does nothing, the page/app never loads.

Could you tell me what device you’re using? You said Android with Chrome or Vivaldi, but I’ve tested both of those and not having any issues. I’m not sure what could be causing this, but I could try to track down a device specific issue.

I’m having the same issue with my cart. I am using Vivaldi on MacOS. I added some products while in beta, and went to check them out now and I’m getting that error page. When I open the site in Safari and go to the cart (empty, I never use Safari) I get the same error.

I was testing on my Pixel 6, but the same issue appears on my Mac on Chrome. I can’t access the dashboard, and I can’t check out my cart. Both lead to the same loading screen.

It looks like you get through the checkout - are you still seeing the issue?

That’s right, the checkout seems to have gone through in the meantime, and I can access my dashboard now. Did you change something in the background?

We’ve made some significant improvements to performance all round, including unblocking this issue for most (all?) visitors. Please let us know if you continue to experience it.

Seems all good now - thank you for the quick fix! Also, the pages seem to load way faster now, which is great!

Yes - we had a database crash due to too many connections at once a few hours ago, and it actually uncovered the fact that one of our core caching rules wasn’t firing correctly, which was resulting in far too many database calls, and slower page loads. We’ve now fixed that, so you should find the site is performing far better overall.
