Anti-AI filtering?

Currently you’re requiring publishers to declare if they use AI. A declaration is informative, but its better if it can be set as a filter, so that users never see AI-contaminated products (DriveThru does this). And better yet if that filter is opt-out (that is, if you have to deliberately opt-in to see AI products).

Thanks for the post!

There’s a filter for this in the product filters:

I’ve just promoted it higher in the filters, as it was sitting down too low and wasn’t easily discoverable.

For the moment, it’s intentionally opt-in to exclude AI products, since that feels like the best way for people’s work to be more discoverable. I’m open to changing that, so it’s not a closed discussion.

The AI content policy is a good reference here:

Ah, I was expecting it as a user-setting rather than in product filters. Excellent.

What I’ll do is if a logged-in user toggles that filter, it remembers their choice for next time they browse products. That will make it opt-in, but also consistent for each user.

I feel like that’s a good balance and middle-ground for now.

This is now implemented!

The AI filter option is higher up in the list of filters, and the preference is saved for logged-in users.
