Hello! It would be really cool if we could do devlogs on our products. I’ve been trying to use the feature on itch.io as often as I can, specifically when I update a product or something. I know this might be a niche use case, but it’s a solid way to connect with your base and show that you are working on things they don’t get to see all the time because they are not following your social media or on your Discord.
Yes - that’s a fair feature, and not a bad idea to include.
All creators can post updates that show up in the activity feed of their followers, so you can communicate more directly that way. It isn’t the same thing as devlogs, but it’s something that’s available now for creators to use.

I did see the activity feed; are those just shared with followers? Just curious about their use. (I already posted something there but as I haven’t pushed for having followers, I don’t have any yet.)
Yeah - activity feed updates are shared with followers in their feed, and included in their daily or weekly digest emails if they have those enabled.
I know they’re not the same as public devlogs, so that would be a separate feature.
